See your family physician as soon as you know you are pregnant. Visits are usually planned before 14 weeks, at 18–24, 28–32 and 36–38 weeks. Your physician may add visits if there is risk.
Do not wait if you have bleeding, a severe headache, visual change, your waters break, a clear drop in baby movements or a high fever. Call 112 or go to emergency care.
